If you want Toronto artists from different disciplines to mingle, you've got to give them a project, make like a camp counsellor and get everyone started on group sing-a-longs and macaroni jewellery boxes. Once everyone starts sharing the glue gun, they quickly realize that art is art, creativity is creativity, and the divisions between disciplines are largely imaginary boundaries. A film is a poem, a poem a painting, a painting a dance, etc. Same juice, different blenders.

The Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto (LIFT) presents an evening of collaborative films curated by RM Vaughan.
