This workshop is intended for those who have a basic understanding of the principles of cinematography and would like to learn more about the art and techniques of the super 16mm Aaton XTR Prod. In this two-evening workshop, you will have an overview of the technical aspects of this sync sound camera that is designed for super 16mm film formats. Using a basic lighting setup and a variety of camera angles participants will shoot a short scene to experience the versatility of this camera. This workshop is ideal for directors, the camera crew and other techies who are looking to further their skills.

The Camera Theory workshop is strongly recommended as a prerequisite.

Instructor:
Vince Kesavamoorthy was trained in cinematography by Mr. Richard Leiterman. Vince has completed many projects as cinematographer, and is always looking for interesting projects to film and light. He is currently shooting and producing the award winning TV series, The What Is, for ichannel in Canada (www.twixterstv.com).
