Learn all about LIFT's smallest, lightest, affordable and versatile 16mm/Super 16mm cameras in one day. This workshop will cover the technical aspects of how to use the Bolex from visual effects to basic metering. We will discuss how to achieve a variety of visual effects including double exposure, intervalometer (for time lapse), using the matte box to create split screens and other easy in-camera effects.

The Camera Theory workshop is strongly recommended as a prerequisite.

Instructor:
Chris Kennedy is an independent filmmaker, programmer and writer currently living in Toronto. He has made over a half dozen short experimental films, the majority of which were shot with a Bolex camera. He holds an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute.
