Doors open at 7:00 p.m.
Presentation of THE ROBERTO Award at 10:00 p.m.
There will be a screening of Roberto Ariganello's 2001 film, "Shelter".
"Shelter" is a multi-layered experimental film that cleverly weaves archival social commentary and recent political activism in a playful analysis of our culture's misplaced priorities.
There will be a chance to buy a copy of "Shelter." See CFMDC and Satan Macnuggit DVD compilations below.
MUSIC BY: Isabelle Noel and DJ Satan Macnuggit
There will be an exciting line-up of generous donations, ranging from goods and services from film labs to restaurant vouchers to theatre tickets - there's something for everyone! Thousands of dollars worth of film pre and post-production items along with a year's worth of tickets and passes to your favourite festivals and events!
The party will be a great chance for members, and those interested in LIFT, to meet each other in a casual and fun environment!

HOW THE SILENT AUCTION WORKS:
You will obtain a bidding number at the night of the event. Items will be bid on by writing your personal bidding number on the item sheets.
All bids will have a MINIMUM BID STARTING AT A THIRD OF THE VALUED PRICE. Bidding increments will vary and be determined on an item by item basis. If you do not follow the incremental bid listed your bid will be invalid. Some items will have special conditions, which will be available to review during the night of the auction.
Unfortunately due to our on site set-up, items cannot be paid and picked up for at the event. Items will be available at the LIFT office starting December 17, 2007. Please contact Renata Mohamed, Membership and Volunteer Coordinator, at 416.588.6444 for more details.
